Today marks one of my favorite days of the year, Opening Day for Baseball. While my favorite team (the Orioles) don't open up their season until tomorrow night, most teams started today. Gamestop, the glorious company they are (sometimes, I guess) decided to mark this occasion by marking down a digital download of a game that's appropriate for the time for one day. For today only, MLB 2k10 on the PC (only, sorry...) is $2.99. That's 27 bucks cheaper than it goes for. So,...

PSN had one not too long ago, so it's only right that Microsoft follow in suit. On the Xbox Live Arcade, right now, you can find a slew of big name arcade titles for half the price of normal. These aren't throwaway games either, with a lot of them being some of the bigger name titles of previous years. So, if you have some extra MS points lying around, you might want to give these titles a look. As for me? I highly recommend Defense Grid and Age of Booty, ...

In case you weren't in the know, I'm here to tell you that NBA Jam is coming out...eventually. The game that defined a generation of sports gamers with words such as Boom Shock a Locka and He Threw up a Brick! is set for release this fall on the Nintendo Wii. To hold you over, some screens were recently put out on the internet to show how the game is progressing. A couple weeks ago, the news broke about a website that was being released to the gaming public. This website, GameCrush: Be a Player, is a site where you can go and pay a girl (or guy if you fancy) to play multiplayer games with you over the PC, Xbox, or PS3. I shit you not...I can't make this kind of stuff up. I'm not that creative.
Some people thought it would be a good idea to get a bunch of female...

In case you weren't aware (or didn't care), the Nintendo DSi XL was released to North America on Sunday, March 28th. The DSi XL is basically the same thing as the Nintendo DSi (which was released about a year ago) except larger...much larger. The Nintendo DSi sported a 3.25 inch screen which the XL increases to a whopping 4.2 inch screen. Although the screen is bigger, the display didn't change with the DSi and DSi XL having the same ...

Well this is defintiely interesting. On some British TV show, someone built a real life replica of "The Pit" level from Modern Warfare 2. Why would someone do this? Well, because they want to see who could finish the course faster...a bald nerd playing on his Xbox 360 or a SAS Special Forces Operative with sniper training. The result is an interesting video well worth the 7 minute time investment you need to put into it, if only for the way...

Nintendo released a press release last night that mentioned an upcoming 3D Nintendo DS system (called the Nintendo 3DS). This sytem is rumored to be coming in the next fiscal year, which is from Apr 2010 - March 2011. Most people will scoff at the idea of a 3D gaming device, especially one from Nintendo, but it bears mentioning that this systems sounds like the real deal. For starters, you will NOT have to wear glasses while playing it. That ...
