Dec 21st 2012 - End of the World?
If you have heard all the talk about 12/21/12 being the end of the world (Judgement day, Second coming, etc), do you think it's true? What are your opinions?

Haha, nah its a load of shit if you ask me, they're making all these films about it and saying that its from the mayan calenders, but who in this world can read them? answer = no one!

I don't know its something that I believe is not neccesarily the end of the world but perhaps the start of it. The Mayans where not the only ones to predict it. Nostradamus also predicted the end of the world would start in Dec of that year not an exact date and so did St. Malachy although he didn't predict a date he predicted how many popes we would have before the apocolapse. He had us going down to the pope leading us through the beginning when Crist will come down and take those that are worthy then when earth turns to hell the last pope will come to be and he will be an anti-pope if you would.

12/21/2012 is not the end of the world. It just looks cool, so that's where they decided to stop their calendar!

I think the whole concept is kinda funny. I highly doubt that the world will end on that date. If it does... It'll be by our hands.
Personally? I believe the Mayans got tired. They spent all this time writing a calender, then they got to to Dec. 21st 2012, and they all yawned and walked away. Just a thought.

There's a bunch of talk about this being the end of the world. The Mayan calendar ends at this time and there's also another calendar that ends around this time too...I forget what. There's a lot of people who think it's not the end of the world, but a new time in the world. Some say it's when Christ returns, others say it's a time of spiritual renewal...while others say it's when a tragedy will happen and life will change 100% (think Fallout 3). What do I think? Well, I wasn't scared at Y2K and this doesn't scare me much either...
