I that website tried to give me a virus. I got up today and my home computers anti-virus had caught 30 something questionable things that I promptly deleted.

Nah, it wasn't that site. I visited it at work and at home and nothing was caught. I work for a technology based company so we have some heavy duty virus protection. It would have come up if it were. It's a legit site. Maybe you just got spyware from somewhere. Spyware and virus' are different in that spyware is caught by virus protection and can be deleted, but a virus is usually intelligent by design and won't let itself be deleted so easily. The best that can happen in some cases is that the virus is quarantined. Most likely you had spyware, which most sites put out.

That might be true but thats the only site out of the ordinary that I think I went to unless my wife was on it, but she normally uses her laptop instead.

If you see any more, take a screenshot of it and post it. I work for an advertising company so I'll be able to tell if it's spyware or a virus just by looking at the details. If it said anything like 'advertising.com', 'doubleclick', 'adsense', etc. something like that, then it's spyware and you are safe. If it said Trojan or Malware, etc. then it could be a potential virus.
