Default Do you ever get Xbox 360 Headset Issues?

Does your headset ever stop working randomly when playing a game or when you plug your headset back into the controller after taking it off? If your headset headset does this, how do you get it to work? I have to turn of my xbox for about an hour to make it work...

Sometimes that happens to me. The Microsoft headsets are so cheap! I have a slightly bad connection on mine where I have to wiggle around the wire at the base of the connector that plugs into the controller sometimes. Nothing you can really do about it other than re-wiring the headset, but that's NOT fun! Just blame Microsoft.

Ya Microsoft shoud've made the headset a little better because we pay $20 for it and most our mics break! However this headset looks a little more reliable Turtle Beach - Ear Force X1 Headset for Xbox and Xbox 360 - TBS-2055-01

Also does the wireless headset do this?

I know some people with the wireless headset and it does not have this issue. That one you posted is like the ultimate headset! But, its $60 bucks. I want one of those myself. So much better and more comfortable than the cheap Microsoft headsets.

60$?

You ever spend $80 on a inflatable pool raft with dual cup holders, built in cooler and incline seat?

Some things in life are worth it my friend

P.S.- Yes my mic has had connection issues @ the base since I opened my xbox360

The wireless headset is nice, but if you lose the charger cord like I did, you're screwed. They won't sell you just the charger. They want you to buy it all over again...grrr. The turtle beach one you linked to, yeah, that's a big one, but theres one that's supposed to be even better. Same company though...

I think I'm on my 4th headset. My first one stopped working because of the thing at the bottom being bent. My 2nd one might have had the same issue and my 3rd one just broke in half and duct tape didn't work.

Gotta make sure to stop leaving my headsets all over the place.

Sounds like it may have been worth it to spend the $$ on the better quality headset

I kinda crushed my headset not to long ago. It still works though. Sometimes I can hear what I just said into the mic, like some kind of echo effect. (It's creepy.) Sometimes this reeealy bad static comes from other players, and I don't know if it's my mic or theirs.

Overall, I was guessing they were just cheap, and now I can confirm it.
