Whats the difference between buying my xbox live subsciption from xbox or from a store? Do you get more with the store like an extra month free?

Right, normally when you purchase a subscription from a store they give you 12+1 months. I *think* if you buy it straight over Xbox LIVE through the marketplace it's only 12 months, but it's the same exact price. So by going to a store, you get one extra month. I never bought mine from Xbox LIVE so I'm not 100% sure.

I was just looking on xbox live today and couldn't find where it says the 13th month free but I know stores offer it so I was just wondering.

Makes sense. I don't think you get the +1 month free if you buy direct over XBL.
You might be able to get a card off eBay for slightly less than $49.99, which is what you would normally pay at a retail store. 12 Months for $39.99 ($3.33/month): http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Xbox-Live-12...d=p3286.c0.m14 13 Months for $44.00 ($3.38/month): http://cgi.ebay.com/XBOX-360-Live-12...d=p3286.c0.m14 You actually get a slightly better bang for your buck by going with that 12 month card for $39.99. Only thing is you can't get it today... you'll have to wait for it to come in the mail =/ I have a 48-Hour Free Xbox LIVE Gold Trial code if you want that while you wait!

I always buy mine over xbox because it's more convenient. You just get 12 months via xbox. Sometimes, in the stores, you do get the 1 month extra. Although, another option I have done before was to buy one of those starter packs. The starter packs come with stuff like the vision camera and the typing pad. I got both by doing that. When you buy the pack though, you DO NOT get one month free. Just the 12 plus the item.
