Windows XP Black Edition
Whats everbodies take on the xp black edition? I have a dell xps which came with vista and im finally too the point of letting my dog eat my laptop, vista has just become an annoyance with the problems it has with windows update and all the other crap, just wondering if the black edition would be worth it or if i should just look at putting xp pro on it. thanks

I wouldn't touch it...
You will get better performance with Windows XP Professional if thats what your looking for. If you want something pretty then go with XP Black Edition to seperate you from the others, but you'll take a performance hit. XP Black Edition is basically a hacked up version of Windows XP to make it look cool. And thats about all! I don't even think it was offically released by Microsoft. I think it's some "warez" release haha some "l33t h4x0rs" made it themselves!

well I got it from the site lol and its missing one of the fucking 79 files so it looks like im not utilizing it, so anyway I may need some help with some other computer stuff gimme a call one night when your free
