k i need a new video card for my comp. i dont have that new pci-e stuff so i guess i need a agp card or whatever its called. anyone know any good ones? thnx dudes

Playa - what's your budget? This is a very nice AGP card for only $45.00. They're cheap now because PCI-e is taking over! Anyways, if you need something cheaper let me know and I'll find you a good one. Or, if you want to spend more there are better cards available... but that GeForce 6200 is well worth the money. Also, what video card do you have currently? (want to make sure you're not downgrading!)

Okay cool. Lets find out what type of video card you already have then!
I'm assuming you're running Windows XP: Go to your desktop, right click on My Computer, choose "Properties" and then select the "Hardware" tab and then hit the "Device Manager". Once you're in Device Manager, look for "Display adapters" in the list and click the little "+" sign next to it. Tell me what it says for Graphics Controller.

Yeah, thats a shitty card. Get the one I recommended and save your other $50.00 for something else... like RAM or something more important. You will notice a huge difference between those two video cards!
