Far Cry 2: 15 Bucks on 360

If you haven't picked up FarCry 2 for the 360, now's your chance. Amazon has it for 15 bucks today, which is one hell of a deal. I own the game and played it a bunch and 15 bucks is a steal. Head over to the following link to pick it up. Not sure if this is a daily deal or what, but the PS3 version is still 30. I'd imagine this won't stay 15 bucks for long.

I never played it. Is Far Cry 2 is the game that has really awesome graphics?

The graphics are really good. Basically, you play a mercenary who goes into Africa to find some gun runner. Things take a spin, you lose all your stuff and the gun runner finds you. He doesn't kill you though - he actually heals a wound you have and then leaves, and you continue your search. You chose a side in the mercenary war thats going on and do missions for them. You are assigned two "friends" in the game, one that gives you counter missions to everything you pick up and another that will rescue you when you fall in a gun fight.

The gameplay is pretty good, except for one big glaring weakness. The map is too big and there's no auto transportation besides some random buss stops that are impossible to find most of the time. You have to drive everywhere and it's usually the equivalent of a couple miles. It's frustrating. You'll come across bad guys and they will attack on sight and when you kill them, they usually respawn again later. The developers wanted the game to be realistic and it is. You take damage and you have to pull bullets out of your body, take pills to fight back malaria, etc.

Overall, is it worth 60 bucks? Maybe... But is it worth 15? Hell yes...

Because they sold out. It looks like they aren't even offering the game anymore, lol...they only have used versions now. People must have wiped them out.

You should see it when they have a gold box deal of the day that's video games. PS3 seems to sell pretty quick because they never go on sale, but if there is ever a Wii day, where they only offer Wii games for dirt cheap...it's like the mom's come out of the woodwork and spend hundreds! lol.
