What is your favorite FIRST PERSON SHOOTER of all time??? And Why?? Mine is personally is Call of Duty 4, which will probably be replaced by Modern Warfare 2, but whats your favorite?

Mine has to be Golden Eye. Outdated I know but its a classic and very nostalgic for me.

dude i remember playin that when i waz like 5 on my older cousins' N64, i used to love goin 2 their house so i could play, i gotta say that was an awesome game for the time

The new Wolfenstein game is pretty good. I like it. It's very old school in it's feel. The graphics aren't the best, the story is sweet.

Basically, you play this American spy named BJ. You are the worlds biggest pain in the ass for the nazi's. Your job is to disrupt the Nazi supernatural experiments that are taking place. It's a FPS, but you can upgrade your guns by collecting gold. The upgrades really go make a significant difference so that is nice. You also get to swap in and out of this alternate reality type dimension where you run faster and do more damage. Plus, enemies are highlighted. It's a nice aspect of the game.

If you only like the Halo's and Gears of the world. You probably won't like this game. It's not a AAA title...but definitely a AA. It's kind of like FEAR2 in it's caliber. FEAR2 wasn't the best of games, but it was pretty damn good in my eyes. Review scores are giving it anywhere from a 70 to an 90. Oh, and in between missions, you are dumped into an open world style place where you can go and do whatever you want. It's not as open world as GTA or Saints Row, but it's a nice change of pace for a FPS.

Give it a rent, see if you like it. The multiplayer won't last more than 3-4 mos. so don't buy it for that. Buy it instead for a nice single player experience.
