Lord Of The Rings: Conquest
Anyone played this yet?
I'm just finishing Tomb Raider: Underworld (one more achievement to get) and then I've decided 'Lord Of The Rings: Conquest' will be next on my list... Just wondering what everyone thinks who has played it so far... I'm not a big LOTR fan (never even watched any of the movies), but the game looks alright. |

Have you tried it yet? I'm just finishing up Tomb Raider within the next couple days and then I'm going to play this... hopefully I'll have it in this weekend!

how many hours did it take?
Can you give us a "mini review", how was the gameplay? was it too easy?

Ummm it took me like roughly 10 hours total maybe... I played through the single player game on the casual setting and blew through that in one shot until I beat it... which took me about 5 hours. Then I'd say another 5 hours or so online getting the multiplayer achievements.
The gameplay was fun. There are a few different character types and each one has their own special powers, moves and combos. I played mostly as the Warrior and Mage. After I got used to their specials it was easier and a lot of fun. There were a few levels I didnt care for, but there was a couple that were really fun which made up for those bad ones. You initially play through the story on the good side, and then once you beat that you get to play basically the same story, but on the evil side, which was cool. Even though its the same story, its still just as interesting to play. The online gameplay was alright... nothing to brag about. My two fav. levels were the one where you have to kill the elephants and the other one where you get the achievement for killing 300 hobbits Overall, I would recommend this game. I liked it, and I'm not a LOTR fan... I've never even watched any of the movies!! The game just looked cool so I decided to play it. If you're a LOTR fan you'd probably love this game. Also, there isnt much re-play value in my opinion, but again that might just be because I'm not a huge LOTR fan. |
