So NXE has been out for a few months now. What do you guys think? At first I hated it, but over time I've gotten used to the childish avatars and I like it better now than I liked the blades. I couldnt go back to the old dashboard.

After several months now with the new dash, I certainly prefer it over the old blades.
Unfortunately, I'm just going to point out two of the biggest negatives about the new dash: 1. Although a great idea, the party system is flawed. People are constantly kicked out from parties and it's believed that being in a party, instead of the original game chat, will create more lag when playing multiplayer games. 2. The NXE is being held responsible for the N74 red ring problems. It creates more heat and burns up the console. Bottom line, I still like it better.

I dont know if this is a problem with everyone but when I select to open a page it takes like 4 seconds max for the page to load. I think that they need to make page viewing faster.

I remember them saying (or someone who I was talking to said it) that the pages and everything would load faster, ect. That was a total LIE! shanevar5 is right - the pages load just as slow as they did with the old dashboard if not slower!
E vee dub - i have also had many of the same experiences with people getting dropped from parties, ect. I think sometimes though, the problem is with the host. The host needs to have a great connection in order to have a stable party. I think if the host is connected wirelessly and has a week connection they will randomly drop people in the party. That has been my experience anyways... |
