You can buy a Pepsi and look for a 12-character alphanumeric Code (each, a "Code") underneath bottle caps on specially-marked 20-oz and 1-L bottles of Pepsi and on 32-oz and 44-oz fountain cups.

Go to the PEPSI ROCK BAND WEBSITE and enter your code.

Pick the song you want and you immediately get a token for a free Rock Band song. It works for Rock Band 1 & 2. Or you can use a point for a drawing of other big prizes. But the songs are free every time.

I've already downloaded 5 songs.

This works for XBox 360, PS3 and the Wii.

Cans, bottles, boxes, none of it matters if there isn't a code. Then it's just a Pepsi.
Look for a Rock Band logo on top of the caps. I haven't seen them on cans yet.

I've only been able to find my "specially-marked" caps on 20-oz. bottles in small refrigerators at the register lines in Wal-Mart. It sucks because they're usually about the same price as a 2-Liter, but well worth it if I get a song code out of it.

That's a pretty badass promotion they have going on. I don't play Rock Band much, but if I did...I think I might have switched to Pepsi. Would have to put up with the bad taste, but hey, free songs!

Honestly, I think I'm in the minority anywhere I go with this argument. I think Pepsi is too sweet. I love the taste of Coke though...but most people like Pepsi...it's weird. I just can't imagine why

But back on topic... Yeah, I need to check this out. I don't own Rock Band, but... I've been thinking of picking it up. The first one, at least.

I love pepsi more than coke but its mainly because, like you said, it has alot more sugar in which gives it a better taste. Dr pepper has to be #1 on my list tho

I average drinking more than one Dr. Pepper a day.

Right now my favorite soda can be Pepsi just for those codes.

But my favs are:

#3 Mr. Pibb

#5 Barq's Root Beer

(funny how my top five all have caffeine)
