I came back to amend my message and saw yours. I just got my first ad

Looks like you can subscribe for 36 bucks a year and you get a program for your desktop, no ads, better quality, etc. That's not too bad. Napster is 10 bucks or so a month (120 a year). So, you can't pick your songs, but after 15 min they are already playing stuff I like (minus one strange choice of Hall of Oates...lol.)

You can also listen to it on your blackberry or windows mobile device...sweet!

Nice So basically that USB port on the 360 is similar to any other USB port on a PC! I wonder what would happen if you plugged in a USB mouse or speakers... hmmm something to try

Lol I dont think the mouse would do anything but the speakers u gotta try that

Add-ons worry me when it comes to the Xbox 360 consoles.

And that's a good point, do all this with a controller! I bet they'll encourage us to purchase another peripheral device. Money $ Money $ Money $

My mouse is USB. I wonder what good that would be on an XBox 360 console.

Why doesn't Microsoft just break bad and sell a gaming console that is also a full fledged computer? I guess because we're dumb enough to buy both.

All MS is doing is trying to make the 360 a PC. In the meantime, they're making bank.

Oh and when you charge your controllers with the console off, it's not really off. You can hear a small motor running to charge your controller. But it does automatically stop when charging is complete.

What good is a keyboard? Just leave it hooked up to your computer and send messages through XBox.com. Unless you don't have a router, which are cheap nowadays.

I think that noise might be a small fan inside the 360's power supply, but I've always wondered exactly what it was... still not sure to this day lol

But what if you'r xbox is in the loft and your god-awful computer is downstairs? Then the keyboard comes in handy.
LastFm isn't bad either, but you want to try Spotify, if you can handle the same ads over and over every 5 or so songs.
