Default Anyone Recommend Red Dead Redemption?

Red Dead Redemption for PS3, has anyone played this game? It looks great, but I am still unsure. Any thoughts from other gamers would help a lot.

Thanks.

I have the game on 360 and so far I love it, I have not finished the single-player yet but I have enjoyed every minute I have played so far, the multi-player free roam is defiantly interesting, it is fun but if you are not in a posse you may have trouble with other players randomly killing you for no reason, but storming a gang hideout with a couple friends, or becoming a public enemy and running from the police are priceless moments. The game does remind me of a western GTA4, but it is different, I personally hated GTA4 and I love this game, Rockstar improved the aiming system, i think the missions are more fun and less pointless, and overall Rockstar improved the overall gameplay, movement is a lot less hurky jerky and the horse movement for the most part is very smooth. I recommend this game but you may want to rent it first, I took a chance and bought it without renting and I haven't regretted it. Hope this isnt to scattered, but overall it is a very good game and I hope this helped your decision.

Definitely superb game with amazing background.
The storyline of Red Dead Redemption will take you all over a vast swath of countryside that straddles the border between the U.S. and Mexico which makes it more special!

I actually have only got about 2 hours into the single player in this game. I have had it since release and the multiplayer is CRAZY good. There is just so much to do. Go do coop and clean out hideouts, play dice/poker, do horse races, pvp, take over towns, go hunting with friends, kill zombies, etc, etc.

My 8 year old daughter plays it as well and loves it just as much as I do. I typically try to do the challenges and get my level up, she just likes riding around on a horse!
