Sweet new PS3 Bundle Coming Soon!
Soon, Metal Gear Solid and Killzone 2 will be packed in with the 80GB PS3 model for the regular price of $399, which means you'll essentially be getting both great games for free! From the looks of it, this is going to be a Best Buy exclusive, so if you're about to get a PS3 you might want to wait just a little bit longer to take advantage of this awesome deal. The deal is supposedly starting next weekend.
And no worries if you miss out on this deal because Sony will be cutting the price of the PS3 this fall prior to the release of the PS3 Slim. |

I think a lot of people are holding off until they see this new PS3 slim. With the new video released from the Philippines documenting the device and GameTrailers.com mentioning they believe it's real...it's making some headlines across internet-land. Not sure what the features will include, but if it's real, it should sell a few systems.

PS3 Slim is definitely real. It'll come out right around the same time as Microsoft's Project Natal to take away some of it's attention I think.

You know, I didn't think about that. That's a damn good point! You're on to something there! That's a great way to take some of the marketshare away from Microsoft. Give the fans and the people on the fence what they have been asking for.

That would be a dastardly move...
... And I love it. I'm just waiting for either A) the PS3 to drop in price to about 200 bucks or B ) someone on the street to give me one. As for the former, I've already made the necessary sacrifices of fan-boys and goats. It's only a matter of time now... =P But, to be serious... Looks like the time to buy is nearing.

I doubt it will go to 200, maybe 299, but not 200. They are already complaining that if they decrease the price any they will lose money.

We all know there isnt going to be a $200 price drop anytime soon haha, but many people are expecting a price drop from Sony this fall... I'm guessing they'll chop off another $50 or maybe up to $75, but no more than that. That's just my guess though, IF they drop it.
