Question Fastest Way to Level Up?

So far I have over 50 hours logged in multiplayer mode alone (over 81 hours including campaign & special ops) and I'm only a level 54 at the moment. Some of you might remember I said I was going to Prestige 10 this game. Well, at this rate it's going to take FOREVER to get that! Lately I've been playing mostly Ground War which is a mix between Team Deathmatch and Domination.

What different modes do you think are good for getting the most XP in order to rank up the fastest?

Also, I learned today about Riot Shield Boosting! Did it for a little bit and that was fun hahaha, but kind of lame though and it gets really boring really fast. Good thing for beer. Basically, you get a party of 12 friends and then you go into a real Search and Destroy match online. Once all 12 people are in the game (so there are literally no strangers outside of your friends because the entire room of 12 is all friends) you grab a partner who is on the opposite team. When the match starts, instead of actually playing the match you meet up with your partner somewhere on the map and then you take turns unloading clips on each others Riot Shields while gaining massive amounts of XP. So partner A takes out his gun while partner B puts up his Riot Shield. Partner B gets a bunch of XP while partner A shoots it like crazy. Then, partner B takes out his gun, partner A switches to his Riot Shield and you do the same, so partner A gets a bunch of XP while B is shooting it. And you just keep doing that, going back and forth back and forth taking turns with the shield.

I'll probably do some more Riot Shield Boosting again at some point in the future if I'm really gonna go for the Prestige 10, but for now I rather just have fun and play the game and level up the way you're "supposed" to. The boosting method is a PITA

Riot Shield = Cheap.

I say just play it regular and whatever prestige you get to, just be happy with that. It's just an imaginary number, no need to stress over it. Plus, whatever prestige you get , you'll know that you got it through hard work, not cheating. You don't want to go cheap and get a higher prestige by cheating because you'll always remember doing it that way.

if ur lookin to rank up play headquarters w/ a good team or get good at search and destroy, those gametypes are best plus use many different guns and get the challenges for them plus switch up perk and killstreaks b/c there are challenges there too

obviously the riot shield is the quick way but cheap too

I found S&D to be quick or if your good free for all can be faster you can get twice the points from challanges because you are killing alot of people.

play the game the way it was meant to be played!

If your good enough you will prestige 10, since you obviously have the time logging 81 hours in 2 weeks!

I can only keep that up for so long... you know BioShock 2 comes out in a couple months

Yeah, Prestige 10 is not going to happen, but I'll prestige at least once I guess.

I don't think I have enough patience for S&D

I'll probably never prestige (and if I do, it would be once) but I treat MW2 as my go to multiplayer. I can't just sit down and play a multiplayer game...I get bored of other stuff and end up on a MP game. Other games come and go, but I always find time to play MW online throughout other game releases. Just treat it like that. Play other stuff, but just log an hour here and there. Eventually, you'll prestige...it just won't happen overnight.

Last Friday I saw someone who was Prestige 3 and actually watched him go Prestige 4 in the pre-game lobby. He also changed his clan tag to [4th] haha. Last night gwhit, danimoose and I saw a Prestige 3 as well. I'm seeing a LOT of Prestige 1.

I could see how people could be at a high level Prestige 1 or low level Prestige 2, but I still cant believe people are already at 4 and probably beyond!

I'll tell you how they are...

Unemployment rates are at 10% right now, and I bet if you checked...they are in that percentage.

There's no way they are getting that high with a job and/or school. Either they are unemployed, or they belong to the gaming press (i.e., they work for IGN, Kotaku, Joystiq, etc.)
