I'm just taking a guess here, but I think I might know what that part of the game will be about because I recently learned on 60 minutes that Brazil's power grid suffered a cyber attack not too long ago and as a result they entire city lost power! So maybe that part of the game will be related to the real life event. I'm just waiting to find out if that's the case or not. Don't worry, I won't spoil it for anyone when I do figure it out though.

K time to play again... I'll let you guys know when I finish up with Campaign mode!

By the way, you might remember seeing the "LAX Airport" scene in one of the trailers... yeah... that part of the game is in-f*ing-credible!

If you are 5 hours into the game, you've already passed the rio de janeiro statue.

WARNING Possible Spoiler:

It's the level where you're going after the arms dealer after you find out about the casing on the bullet. Right after you shoot the dude in leg and Soap and Ghost take him into that trailer to torture him, you and 2 other dudes go into the village area. There are civvies everywhere and one of the dudes says "Get rid of the civilians." So the one dude shoots in the air and everyone runs...if you look up and to the right you will see the statue in the distance. That's supposed to be the town where it's at.

There's also a multiplayer level with it.

Another thing that's cool, do you remember the Burger Land level with Nates and the diner? That is supposed to be Northern Virginia...wow, it looks just like it! I work for AOL and their headquarters are down in Northern Virginia. That shopping center looks like this one shopping center there. There's literally a burger king, taco bell, a diner, and a sandwich place that all resemble the area. I was like "Whoa, this is crazy" as I was playing it. I can't wait to see DC.

I made it about 3 hours in. The story is only about 5-7 hours I'm told depending on difficulty. I also played some MP last night. Got up to rank 4 before going to bed. The death streaks are neat but the ones you start with are pretty pointless, extra health is ok but an experienced player can still mow you down before it matters. I do like the extra exp kills you get for ending a kill streak or killing someone who has been killing you a lot. While I'm not a huge MP fan, I can see myself getting hooked on this MP. It has enough unlockables to keep me occupied.

I thought it was a russian airport everything was written in russian on all the signs.

Anyway I was able to play it last night for a good 2 hr stint and made it to just past the point where VAIN was talking about. By the way My wife almost made me take it back at the airport scene. She hated it.

Yeah, it is the Russian airport. The reason it's critical that it's a Russian airport and not LAX is because the Russians are trying to make it seem like an American group is doing the killings, therefore starting the big war.

I think the reason everyone got confused (including myself before the game came out) is because with the leaked footage, they kept calling it LAX. I guess it just stuck after that.

Just about finished with Campaign mode now. I only wish the story was a bit longer. It seems short, but other than that the game continues to surprise me. I'm playing as a sniper now in the middle of a sandstorm! Sweet!

After 10 hours, 6 minutes and 43 seconds I'm done with Campaign mode on Veteran. Now I can move on to Special Ops and Multiplayer!!

The ending was super intense. And the way it left off, there will definitely be a 3rd.

So, I actually got the game yesterday and beat the singleplayer in one sitting - it's not long at all, I must say - but if you got it purely for singleplayer, you're doing something wrong. =P

This next Spoiler box just has some of my favorite moments, so careful if you don't want spoilers.

WARNING Possible Spoiler:

To me, my favorite parts - though they seemed a little lacking and were a bit few and far between - was the two-person stealth missions, the ones inspired from "All Ghillied Up" from MW1. The life of a Sniper fascinates me, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Also, the Airport Level... That was pretty intense. It drew me in the most when one of the civilians was crawling away from a pool of his own blood, and an NPC just kicked him over and popped him in the head. I can't say I find video games shocking nowadays, but I was a bit surprised to see that. It was a nice touch.

Also... The final shot? With the knife going into his eye? I think I died a little inside. That was such a wonderful way to end. Plus, if they "killed" Price off again - Again, pleasantly surprised he was in the game - or killed Soap, I would have cried a bit.

I've yet to really delve into Multiplayer, so that's what I'm doing tonight.

Ok, my thoughts on the campaign...which i finished last night...

The campaign was phenomenal but it was waaaay too short and I can't believe it ended the way it did. They were going for the typical high action movie style, so Shephard shouldn't have been the final boss, it should have been Makarov. Shephard needed to die, but he wasn't the big bad guy of the game. They spent all the time making you hate Makarov with the airport scene, but then you kinda just forget about him since you only hear about what hes doing. True, I hated Shephard after what he did to Ghost and Roach, but I think they should have at least had some sort of confrontation with Makarov. He'll return in part 3 and when he does, they need to have another airport scene with high emotions or people just wont care about killing him.

All in all though, it is a great game. I just wish it were longer and not so much of a cliffhanger. I think I got to level 5 last night in MP and opened up the clan tag. I added GT to the beginning of it.

I agree about Makarov. I'm glad he's still out there, but I feel like he needed to make an appearance before the end of the game. You saw him that one time in the airport, then you heard his voice at the end of the game and that was it. I just wish maybe you gave chase but eventually he got away or whatever. The story was pretty much as far fetched as they come, so since they weren't going for realism, they could have explored that more and had some fun with it.

In terms of story, I think MW1 get's the prize. It was more believable. I think IW got caught up in their own success and went overboard with the theatrics. I wanted to know more about the team members (Ghost preferably and Roach) but there really wasn't any character growth in the game. It was one hell of a ride and I had a blast, I just wished the story was stronger. I bet they focus a lot on this on part 3 because a lot of people online are complaining about the story. IW listens to their fans.
