Yeah, they should have a programme that tracks players stats, just like an online game, if someone reports a person with suspicions that they lvld up fast they could check it against that persons name + do the math, if lets say 10 hours of gameplay and they have the final prestige, they could work out how many games could be played within 10 hours and how much possible xp could be earned. It would be a VERY boring process but it would stop lots of people cheating.

Well this glitch is totally gone now, which is good, but my K ratio is completely shot because of it. I wish I never messed around with it! Now I've been working to try to get back to a 1.0 kill:death ratio, but I still go about another 900 deaths to make up for... *sigh*

Yeah mine is that way to JP I was at .94 before I all that started then I dropped all the way to .8 now I'm at .87 I think making my way back up.
By the way I seen that you went into the third Prestige I was wondering if you keep the prestige challanges going like the ones for all the guns. You know x# of kills and y#of headshots.

Apparently this is a huge complaint over at the MW2 forums on the official site. People are furious about this and have been complaining to the mods for a while. I doubt anything will come out of it because if they wipe your records, people who never experienced it (like myself) would be affected. Maybe they could make it optional? Maybe go back to a K/D ration before it happened. Would have to be a feature on the website if anything.

Yeah, mine was down there too, but I have gotten it back to 0.93 so far. It'll be a while though before I get back to 1.0. Like I said, I have about 940 deaths to make up for.

And to answer your question, hell yeah! Those extra prestige challenges do not reset when you prestige... So I am quickly on my way to 2,000 kills with the ACR and 500 headshots haha.

I can understand why people are so mad, but at the same time they can only blame themselves. If I start thinking about it, sure... I start to get aggravated about it. But I don't complain to IW or anyone else because I knew WTF I was doing at the time... and all I had to do was back out and join another lobby to avoid the glitch.

And for the people who ended up in the glitch and didn't realize what was going on, this is all I have to say... at the end of the first match, when you realized you went 10 kills and 150 deaths, why the hell didn't you back out the next time you saw it?!

Most people were probably thinking the same as I was... hang around in the glitch and eventually get an 11 streak for the AC130 and then just go on a tear and finish at like 200 kills and 30 deaths or something sick like that, but unfortunately, I was never able to get that AC130 haha.

Yeah I agree you have to be stupid to not leave or figure it out. I would do them just to get the Kill benefits for my guns just hold down the trigger next to a spawn and hope no one finds out. The one that I like was a domination where they put the time of possession to keep the positions at 10000 so the game was normal but that. I went 150 and 180 I think before I quite and I was in the game for an hour.

Damn I never even came across that one, danimoose! I guess all the excitement is over for now... until the first map pack is released.

Also, I almost forgot to mention, I have NO idea how they're doing it, but I have seen some people getting outside of the map on Estate and Derail.

I've seen the names thing and I haven't seen people out of anything other than Afgan and Wasteland. I know how to do it just don't want to take the time to.
