You can win 1,600 Microsoft Points in The July Giveaway contest! This card provides you with 1,600 points redeemable for content available on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

This promotion starts on June 15th, 2009 and will end at midnight on July 15th, 2009.

All members who qualify will be entered into a random drawing. The winner will be announced on July 16th and will also be notified via Private Message. You have 72 hours to reply to the PM to claim your prize.

How to be entered into the drawing? There are two (2) minimum requirements that must be met in order to qualify for the drawing; 1 individual requirement and 1 overall requirement.

1. Minimum Individual Requirement: In order to qualify for the drawing you must have a minimum of 25 related posts throughout the promotional period.
2. Minimum Overall Requirement: There must be a minimum of 7 members who reach the Minimum Individual Requirement in order for the drawing to take place.

How to earn more than one entry to the drawing? You can earn an unlimited amount of additional entries into the drawing to increase your chances of winning! For every one (1) referral you make, you will earn an additional entry into the drawing! What is the catch? You're referral must make a minimum of 5 related posts during the promotional period before you will earn the additional entry.

The Fine Print

1. Both new threads and/or replies to previously existing threads count towards the 25 minimum post count requirement for qualification.
2. Your posts must stay on-topic with whatever thread your posting in and the content of your posts must be of high quality (i.e. short posts such as posts that only say, "yes" or "sounds good" or "this game is awesome" will not count).
3. You are only allowed to register under one (1) username. This will be tracked and looked at very carefully. It is very simple for us to tell if you are using more than one username and if you are found to be using more than one username you will immediately be disqualified.
4. If you make referrals, the person who is registering must enter your username at the time of their registration in order for it to count as a referral.
5. Referrals will be tracked and looked at carefully. If you are found to be tricking the system with fake referrals you will be disqualified.

What if a member tells his/her friend to register and include their username for a referral and post 5 posts and never come back again?

Any one individual who registers under more than one username/email address to make it look like a referral. This is possible to track, and you will be disqualified and probably banned too.

We would hope that out of the kindness of your heart you purposely didnt tell them to just make 5 posts and then "never come back again". However, as long as the minimum of their 5 posts were on topic and valid posts then it would count as a valid referral regardless of "why" they decided to register and make 5 posts. If they make 25 posts instead of only 5, then they can be entered into the drawing as well!
