Default Assassin's Creed Collector's Edition Revealed

Assassin's Creed was a big game when it was released. A lot of people enjoyed the gameplay, but complaints can be found about the ending. Regardless, a part 2 is coming out and with all big sequels, collector's editions are a big part of sales.

Gamestop recently put up on their website the contents of the upcoming Assassin's Creed 2 Collector's Edition, appropriately named "Master Assassin's Edition." In this collector's set you will find the following:
  • An 8.5 inch Ezio statue
  • Artbook
  • Metal case
  • DVD with behind the scenes interviews and gameplay along with a soundtrack
  • 2 exclusive in game maps (when you preorder)
    • Palazzo Medici
    • Santa Maria Dei Frari
  • Oh yeah, the game...
So, if Assassin's Creed is your thing and you are really looking forward to the sequel, head on over to the Gamestop website and put this one on your preorder list.

UPDATE: This collector's edition will retail at $80.

I am definitely looking forward to Assassins Creed II, but I will not be picking up this Collectors Edition. I just hope this one isnt as repetitive as the first one was. I thought Assassins Creed got really boring really fast. Other than that, it was a great game.

I actually never finished the first game because of it's repetitiveness. I still own it, so hopefully I'll pick it up during a dry spell in games and blow through it. I hope they learned from the first one though...mix it up a bit guys.

I think $80.00 is a fair price for that package in my opinion.

I agree. If anyone wants that action figure, that alone is about 15 bucks. Plus the book (we'll say 10) and DVD...yeah, 80 bucks isn't bad. But, the real question is...do you want an action figure of Ezio? Chances are most people don't. His arms don't even bend and I know he can't do the sumo chop with wind up action.
