Creator of Resident Evil Series Introduces Vanquish

Video game teaser and reveal trailers are becoming cooler and cooler. You have some that just show a couple seconds of the protagonists face (a la God of War) and then you have others that make stories out of it with real people (Halo style). The creator of the Resident Evil franchise, Shinji Mikami, has a new game coming out called Vanquish. I haven't heard much about it at all with this video really being the only thing out there. What I can gather is that Earth has been attacked by aliens or some outside force. The US has a female president, the world is crumbling (because of the aliens, not the female president...zing!), and some sort of super soldier is called in to save the day. The super soldier looks like an Iron Man type character (at least he puts his armor on the same exact way.) But you know what? If Aliens came, Iron Man would be an awesome front line fighter. Just read up on the Invasion Marvel storyline.

No word on gameplay, release date, or even platforms but from what I can gather by looking at this and the past work he has done, it will be PS3/360 with a possible PC port later. The video uses no in game footage so this is all just concept stuff.
