As most of you know, I'm from Baltimore, MD. I live in the county, but used to live in the city. When I did live in the city, we had a mayor named Sheila Dixon. She made national news a couple months ago when a story broke that she stole gift cards that were intended for poor people to buy stuff for herself. Baltimore citizens HATE her now and she is out of office thankfully, replaced by a younger mayor that is already winning the hearts of her constituents (especially through her excellent handling of the back to back blizzards we had last month).
This story is not about the younger mayor, but rather the disgraced mayor's Xbox. I just found a story on BaltimoreSun.com that states one of the things the former mayor purchased was a 20Gig Xbox 360. Since it was purchased with stolen gift cards, it was seized for the trial against her. Well, now that the trial is over, the Xbox has been put up for auction by those that seized it for the trial. As of 8:40AM on Tuesday, the auction is at $395.00. In the picture, you can even see a red sticker that says "evidence" on it. I can't see this going too much higher though since you can buy this system for half that price. And quite honestly, who the hell would want a system owned by our former mayor...she's a sleezebag.
