Default Halo Reach To Contain a Murder Mode?

Halo is the premier Xbox franchise. Sure, we've got Gears of War which is also a very successful franchise on the 360, but it's nowhere near the level of Halo. Halo has taken on it's own sub culture with fans religiously playing the multiplayer components and create your own video sections well after the game has been released. It goes without saying that the new Halo game "Halo Reach", due out later this year, is going to be a huge success. Some new screens were releases recently, which I'm going to include below along with a trailer for the game, but what I wanted to point out is a new video that was just released.

Whether or not this video is internal or not, I don't know, but it looks real enough. The video below shows the opening of the Halo Reach beta. Take a look and then we'll talk more...

In one of the screens, the following is shown, so this looks like it's a legit beta:

Quote:
Welcome to the Halo: Reach Public Beta, the experience you are about to enjoy is an early sample of a few multiplayer and single-player levels from Halo: Reach, launching exclusively on Xbox 360 later this year. Until then, drive into Activities or Campaign and have a blast.
Interestingly enough, Kotaku.com also mentioned that the tv that this is being shown on is a Samsung, the brand of TV that Microsoft always uses at their trade shows (like E3). The video stops right when the game was beginning, so most likely this is someone from Bungie introducing a new mode in the game, Murder Mode. A normal person would have shown the video in it's entirety. Looks like maybe Bungie is getting viral with it's information releases. If so, I commend them...it has people talking. Murder Mode looks like it's some kind of stealth mode to kill people (maybe by sneaking up on them from behind?). For anyone who has ever played a Halo game before, this is a completely new concept. Halo is a run and gun game, not a stealth game, so maybe the franchise is heading in a slightly different direction in terms of gameplay. Regardless, I'm intrigued now.

As promised, check out the full trailer of the game below as well as some newly released screenshots.
