MadCatz Modern Warfare 2 Accessories

MadCatz have been around for a long time it seems. How do they remain in business? By jumping on the proverbial bandwagon whenever a hit game is released. Love it or hate it, they have a good business model. With the release of Modern Warfare 2 just around the corner, it seems they are now jumping on the hit game bandwagon by releasing accessories for the game.

I've never been a big fan of their products, but it is interesting that they are releasing something specific to a FPS. Usually you see them releasing stuff for fighters and the like. Not sure what they can release that isn't a 360/PS3 controller with a Modern Warfare 2 sticker stamped on it. Who knows, maybe we could see the next evolution of video game accessories...I wouldn't count on it, but at least you'll have a nifty controller.

Interesting No pictures yet of what the controller will look like? I could sorta use a new controller! I only have one good one and another junk old one. Would be nice to have two good ones!

No pictures as of yet, but a while back, one of the infinity wards guys made a twitter post asking the fans what kind of control stick they like, inny (360) or outty (ps3). Personally, I like the weight of the PS3 controller (it's lighter) but the functionality of the 360 controller. If they could mix the two it would be perfect.

MadCatz also did controllers for SFIV when it came out. See image below. They tend to make optimized controllers so it might be really good for playing MF2, but not so good with other games...like below.

That's awesome. I'm going to consider getting this Modern Warfare 2 controller that they come out with if it looks/sounds any good. Especially if it'll give you an edge over other players without the "special" controller. I wonder if it will have a rapid fire button (haha just kidding).

Hah, could you imagine if it did. You'd be able to pick out the noobs easily. They are over in the corner spending the last of their ammunition while running in circles. All of a sudden over your headpiece you hear "Mom, I can't turn my controller offfff!"
