Modern Warfare 2 - Gamer vs. Soldier in The Pit

Well this is defintiely interesting. On some British TV show, someone built a real life replica of "The Pit" level from Modern Warfare 2. Why would someone do this? Well, because they want to see who could finish the course faster...a bald nerd playing on his Xbox 360 or a SAS Special Forces Operative with sniper training. The result is an interesting video well worth the 7 minute time investment you need to put into it, if only for the way the bald guy gets excited and acts like he is just as good as the special ops dude. At the end of the video I was half expecting the special ops dude to deck the little guy but he didn't. Check it out if you have a few extra minutes, it's neat, especially knowing how obsessed some of you are with MW2 :)

I don't think its a real comparison where in MW2 you can run out into the middle and do what you please if you do that in real life you would you know die. So the Operative was doing it like a live practice while the other guy only had to stop to take out the two on the second floor. If you told the soldier to just keep running he would have won.

Yeah, that's true. He stopped and started taking guys out in a prone position (which is what you are trained to do, I would imagine). Running and gunning is only used in FPS and Rambo flicks.
