Nintendo Officially Announces New Larger Screen DSi

Nintendo officially went on record today to announce their new DSi model to hit stores soon, the DSi LL. This new model is bigger in every way to it's counterpart, the DSi. For starters, the screen is bigger and the device weights a whole 100 g more than it's predecessor. Along with size, the DSi LL will also cost more than the other DS consoles. This one will release in Japan at 20,000 yen (or $220). While the name right now is DSi LL, I doubt it will remain that when it comes to the US. Basically, LL is what the Japanese call "XL." So, an XL shirt in Japan would be LL while here it would be XL. Makes sense that when the DSi LL comes to American shores, it will be called the XL. Depends if the name sticks or not. Microsoft's Project Natal wasn't supposed to be the final name, but I bet they stick with it when it's released due to the market saturation so far.
