This is one of my favorite games this generation...but don't play it to 1000 it. It's not an achievement game where you can easily get 1000. You can easily get somewhere around 900 (pre expansions) but there will be some achievements you just can't get without 3 play throughs. Let me explain.
In Fallout 3, you have a karma level. You can either be good, bad, or in the middle. There are achievements for reaching certain levels and being a specific karma level. So, the first is reach level 5. There's an achievement for reaching it with good karma, bad karma, and netural karma. Good and bad are easy...it's the neutral karma that's going to get you. I've already put in about 110 hours into this game and I just ignored those achievements. I got the ones for being good, but the bad one and the neutral one I just forget about. There's so much to do in this game and it's so amazing that you really don't want to miss out just by going for imaginary useless points. They are nice to have, but play the game for the game, not the achievements. |

I agree with VA1N entirely. The karma levels and various scenarios that you can take make the game fresh almost every time. The game's expansive open-world gives you the choice to do what you see fit in the game whenever you want, even if you travel into some areas where you are easily overwhelmed. The game features an amazing story if you want to be one that loves the script of games, and features even better and more dynamic side-stories/missions for those who want to find amazing hidden features in the game. Modding the game for the PC via G.E.C.K. is an amazing thing to do if you have the patience to learn how to, and the PC to be able to do it.
