Taking the shooter vertical is the revolutionary aim of the epic new action title Damnation. Combining huge open environments, frenetic combat, daredevil acrobatics, and vehicle-based stunts, Damnation breathes fresh air into the shooter genre. Set in a fictional steampunk era influenced by the American Civil War, take charge of hero Rourke and embark on an immersive journey of revenge as two factions engage in an apocalyptic war.

• An open world: Fight in massive, open environments that unfold both vertically and horizontally, requiring three-dimensional thinking. Find new ways to fend off attacks that come from all directions when there's no safe place to hide.
• Acrobatic moves: Traverse the environment using ropes, cliff walls, ledges, zip lines, and other platforming elements, and perform stunning moves at the limits of human ability to jump between ledges, swing on ropes and chains, and more.
• Spirit Vision: Utilize your Spirit Vision to locate allies and enemies in hidden or hard to reach locations.
• Steampunk arsenal: In a steampunk world, wield retro-futuristic weaponry and vehicles to defend a war-torn country from a ruthless and malevolent industrial force. Wipe out enemy forces with an array of projectile, stationary, and explosive steam-powered weaponry. Infiltrate large towns and cities built on steep cliff walls, across gaping chasms, and deep into the earth.
